After considering your options if you decide you have to sell your home here are some things that you might need :
Statements from bank for checking and savings accounts of all borrowers (3 months)
2 years W 2's for all borrowers
Tax return for last two years.
IRS form 4506
Paycheck stubs for all borrowers
A recent credit report
If you are self emplyed , provide P and L statement
If you have been laid off from work, copy of termination letter.
If you have any unexpected hardship that caused problems you should write a letter explaining it and show proof eg medical bills, etc
Prepare a monthly budget and statement showing all your recurring debts, expenses like utilities, insurance, groceries
